The Great Character Gifts
This year I want to do something for my family that I had never done before. I get the inspiration from a sermon at church about creating memory markers in our children's lives. Christmas is coming, I decided to put my inspiration into practice.
I bought a Christmas ornament for each member of my family including my parents. Specially,Each ornament represents a characteristic that I saw in each of them. For example, I bought an angel ornament for my joyful daughter and an old antique spoon for my"servant's heart" husband.Besides this I also wrote a small note for each one of them . The purpose of these notes is tell them why I choose the ornaments to present their characteristic. It is a special time for them to know how someone see them. I have a idea suddenly.I will continue this action every year because as children grown up they will know the changing process of their characteristic through these ornaments.It is a valuable thing both for me and for my family.
At last, I want to say "Character" gifts are priceless because they strike at the core of the individual receiving them I guarantee that if you undertake this precious, precious idea, everyone will leave better for it and you will truly impact your loved one's hearts.
